Missy Blackwell serves as the Office Manager at Abbott Animal Hospital, where she is dedicated to creating a welcoming and positive experience for both pets and their families. She joined the team in June 2026 and brings a genuine passion for client care and animal welfare to her role every day.

As a lifelong resident of Lilburn, Missy has deep roots in the community she serves. Growing up in the area allowed her to build lasting connections with local families, and she takes pride in helping care for the pets that are such an important part of their lives. Her familiarity with the community helps her foster a warm, friendly environment where clients feel comfortable and supported.

Missy began working in the veterinary industry in 2021 and quickly discovered a passion for helping animals and the people who love them. One of her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine is building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. She enjoys watching puppies grow into senior dogs, celebrating healthy checkups, and supporting families through every stage of their pets’ lives.

She knew she had found the right profession when helping pets and their owners no longer felt like work—it became something she genuinely looked forward to each day. The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of both animals and their families continues to inspire and motivate her.

Outside of work, Missy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two cats. She also loves discovering new restaurants and making lasting memories with family and friends.
